I had hoped to go to Uganda this year to help out at Destiny School, an orphanage founded by my friend Evah Mugerwa. However, after much prayer, I decided it was more important for me to do a joint mission trip with my teenage daughter, Leah, and she wanted to go to Peru with Focus on the Family. (So.......we are going to Peru!)

So..........I turned the mission over to my trusted partner in ministry, Colette "Coco" Graves at St. Pauls Missionary Baptist Church (Sacramento, CA). She says:

"We plan to build 300 desks for the orphanage school, at a cost of $15.00 - $20.00 each. We plan to utilize the skills of those in Uganda to make the desk and this will also be a means of putting money into their economy and community. We will be taking medical, school, baby supplies, and lots more."

They need donations of both items and money. You may contact the team leader, Vicki Wilson at VickieLouc@sbcglobal.net
